Well, the Digital Tipping Point has a couple of goals. The first is to be
an organized repository of original, legitimate video covering all things in
the world of Free Open Source Software. The second is to produce a series
of entertaining, watchable documentary films produced by the FOSS community
for Windows newbies. The third is to become an ongoing broadcast on
YouTube, DailyMotion, etc, about FOSS.
So it really is not up to me to determine what the DTP will become. If you
have video bearing on any topic that discusses advances in FOSS or the
cultural implications of FOSS, please let me know, and we will include it in
the library. We do have 300 hours of video that we need to get up onto the
Internet Archive Digital Tipping Point Video Collection (IA DTP VC) and that
is our first priority right now. So if you have video that you would like
to contribute, please send me a link and then we can discuss the specifics.
We need all video and all music in the video to be licensed under a cc by sa
license.
Thanks for asking!
