[Wftl-lug] PMP/MySQL Application

I've just started as IT Manager for a small University campus in
Sydney (hence my quietness of late) and they've thrown me a curly one
- OK, it's a Windows shop (with some small Linux influence, but
growing !!)..

Obviously I want an Open Source solution, preferably PHP and MySQL
based, and cheap/free (as in beer !!)

Here's the problem - I had tried doing this with a spreadsheet and
yes, it workewd, but it was HELL to manage.

We have a total of 21 rooms, 5 timeslots (2 hours, between 9am and
7pm), 5 days a week. That's... um..... 525 possible combinations (not
taking into account rooms with malfunctioning projectors, Wincrap
PCs, etc), so it needs to have some intelligence so as to not double-
book rooms, timeslots, etc.

Any pointers so I don't have to reinvent the wheel will be muchly
appreciated.
