[Wftl-lug] question on memory -- Total Memory vs Physical Memory

I think I asked this question to the list earlier in regards to 4 gigs of 
memory.  So I have it installed and am wondering about what I am seeing when 
I look at KInfoCenter and see that I have 2.02 GB free of Total Memory and 
51.19 MB free of Physical Memory.

Total physical memory shows 1.98 GB does that mean that my system is only 
reconginizing 2 Gigs of RAM?  When I look at the BIOS it shows 4 GIG of 
RAM...

THoughts?
