You mean something more complicated than:

click on Contacts, select the one you want, mouse over the text to
select it, Edit-> copy.
Pick a terminal window, cat > foo, Edit -> paste, <Enter> <Ctrl-D>
Find the text in file named "foo".  Do with it what you like.
