Hi Gar:
Thanks for the lead. I actually purchased the book "Practical MYTH TV" by
Smith and Still (sorry about that Marcel!), with the view that I would
use the MYTH system, but decided that it did far too much for my simple
needs. Many good tips therein, but nothing that covers my particular
problem.
I have recovered my system, it appears that I need to leave the machine
powered OFF for longer between reboots.
I feel fairly certain that this is related to the mixer, and how mixers
work. If anyone knows of a beginners description/theory of operation of
audio mixers, please point me to a URL.
