Hi all,
just a curiosity...
I have Kubuntu Feisty Fawn (7.04) installed in this machine.
When I put an audio CD, several options appear on a pop up menu.
Ripped with K3b, do nothing, and Open.
This last one (in fact the first one on the list) it opens the audiocd
in Konqueror
and for my surprise it appears several directories:
In the main, one all the tracks in .wav, then a flac directory, and ogg
directory and a mp3 directory.
In every directory there are all the tracks in the corresponding audio
format!
So to put the tracks in the computer, I just drag and drop the tracks in
the audio format I like most!
The first time it happens I thought it was something * in* the CD... the
properties reveals something like 3GB of the whole CD...
hmmm... it was a CD not a DVD... So to convince myself that it was
something of Linux-magic I put an old CD that for sure haven't
flac or ogg format... and there it were all the audio format...
"automagically"
I'm just wondering where this "audiocd" is created... I couldn't find it...

As a final comments on CDs, I recently buy one that it cames with a
flash program to play the musics in a MSWindows and the tracks
were all in wma format... surprisingly enough it plays OK in a "normal"
CD player
