This isn't specifically directed at Ubuntu, but it does go in to building a low end pc (<$500.00 US)

They do have another article on building low end systems, but for 2007, the "low end" went up to $1000. I'm not sure about you all, but that's a much higher "low end" than I ever calculated. ;)

Could you or anyone else out here help me find info on building a Ubuntu 7.10 box. There is some info out on building a low cost computer using 7.04 by Dave Shields but not much.
