[Wftl-lug] Funny use of Linux

I think it is interesting that all the responses so far to Patrick's note have been about the
rights and responsibilities of being a parent. I think it's great that a teenager found an elegant
solution to a problem she faced and the solution involved Linux. I cannot count how many
times one of us in this group has said (in one way or another) "Linux is the solution to the
problem".

Patrick has given us a good example of one of our "mantras" but for some reason no one
has commented on that aspect of his note. The first response I read seemed to make an
assumption that the mother hid the presence of the keylogger from her daughter, an
assumption for which there is no support in Patrick's note. Others commented on the the
rights of parents without knowing any more about the situation than what Patrick put in his
note. I think we should be pleased Linux is a tool of choice to solve problems among at least
some teens.
