Since you have the book, you could check the bottom of page 17 [ insert 
appropriate smiley here ].

It varies from system to system, but you will almost always see a message that 
says "Press some key to enter setup". Just press the key the computer 
indicated. Remember, this message comes just as the PC is booting (before 
Windows or Linux loads) and it you have a fast system, it can be easy to 
miss. Watch closely.
