Wow, do I REALLY have to get back to you all with the
real deal? Here goes: Marcel's "Moving to Linux" cd,
when inserted, comes right up with Knoppix. No
"delete", F1, etc. So, I thought, "when booting the
New disc, and nothing happens, then all the
instructions you've been giving me have to happen with
the disc IN the drive. Hit delete key, etc." That's
mistake #1. #2, no, the disc with his new book is not
a cd, it is in fact a dvd, which my "built-in" CD-RW
drive will NEVER be able to handle .....(or will it?).
Thanks to all who tried to help. At least I'm no
longer a newbie....am I?
