It does sound like CentOS is the choice for you. You are already
running RH and patches are released soon after the "upstream provider"
releases them. On my critical servers I'm running CentOS (migrated
from RHEL) and on non-critical smaller sites running on PC class
servers I'm running Ubuntu LTS.
