[Wftl-lug] [OT] - Buying a laptop in Ontario

To those of you in Ontario:

I am in need of a new laptop - like, today. Literally, since I need it for a trip to the US Saturday. And my corporate budget for this literally runs out tomorrow PM. If I don't have oit by then, the budget goes away.

I need a somewhat high end laptop: 
  a.. T7200 Core2 Duo 2 GHz processor
  b.. 1680x1050 display
  c.. 100 GB+ HDD
  d.. 2 GB RAM
  e.. Windows Vista - but I;d like it to be possible to run Linux as well!
I had one ordered from Dell - but instead of delivering tomorrow as promised, Dell now say 10 more days. So I de-ordered that one.

I am amazed to see that no-one has anything remotely like what I need. I have tried brands like Lenovo, Apple and Sony, and retailers like Future Shop and Best Buy. Most of these people don't even tell you screen geometry (they will just say "Widescreen" or "15.4"), not "1680x1050").

Am I overlooking any direct sellers - anyone who might just have one that meets my specs in stock? Any ideas gratefully acknowledged...
