Hi:

There are also many samples where Linux totally overshadows Windows, like:

1. I use an Intel integrated Motherboard. Using Windows 2000, I do need an Intel CD provided with the Motherboard to have the MB work properly; without it the MB picture on the screen is "messy and gross". I do not have to use any "tools" under Linux, to have a perfectly operating board
2. For my cable modem connection under Win2000, I have to use a CD provided by the ISP, to be able to easily connect me to my provider, first time. Linux does that immediately and automatically, "right out of the box", without me having to do anything, first time. (I have had times when I had Linux installed as the very first distro on a virgin hard drive: No problem, it connects out of the box; just like that. "Live" CD/DVD's never have given me any problems, anywhere)
3. Up till now all the Windows based OS/Applications I have can not "see" the Linux/Unix partitions on a hard drive. Now isn't that outright "STUPID"; it's what an Ostrich does in his daily life. Linux can not only "see" them all, but can also format them to NTFS, read them, and now also write to them. Just like that!!
4. Only now is M$ warming up to "Live CD/DVD's". Where have they been all this time??

I can go on and on like that!! signed -> "The New Bee"
