Hi Christian,

First, thanks for kick staring the recent flurry 
of activity and ideas. Brilliant. There was a 
veritable snowstorm of posts :)

Second, I'm still unsure what this application, 
As-U-Type, does that can't be easily done in OO 
(or the *other* thingo :))

When working on long affidavits and assessments 
(never mind when I was writing my thesis) I often 
used autocorrect for those things that I couldn't 
stand writing over and over - particularly if the 
names of persons involved where long and 
complicated, or there was a particular phrase that 
I'd need often.

Autocorrect has a lot of scope for mischief - 
which is why I always lock my screen saver at work 
when I leave my desk :))
