I have performed or assisted hundreds of Ubuntu installations. Can you give me the exact reason why you think it failed? And if you have any time, we can get to the bottom of it. In all likelihood, it is probably due to a bad BIOS or other hardware device not conforming to the specs... -- Kristian Hermansen
